A Corner full of Characters,Love of Mallacoota

As we walked down the river, the old legs started to feel good as we were walking mainly over sand and flat sedimentary rocks. We were looking at the rocks for prints and the rocky valley walls for the rare brush tailed wallaby. This wallaby is found in the Snowy gorge, but has not been seen on the Genoa and it seemed that as the habitat was the same it should be seen in the area. I was compiling a list of birds for the Bird Atlasing group of the Royal Australian Ornitholigists Union, Graeme was looking out for rare trees and plants and all of us were look ing out for good bass holes.
