A Corner full of Characters,Love of Mallacoota

We had found no wallabiles, no prehistoric footprints, but we were travelling through some of the most beautiful and isolated country on this globe. The pools beneath the steep valley walls were a deep green and edged by beautiful sandy beaches. Native mint, hakea, grevillea and heath grew along the banks and high up on the rock cliffs a plant with a beautiful pale blue flower grew in the rock crevices. From where we sat drinking tea on the beach, these bushes with their clusters of flowers apĀ­peared a brilliant, almost iridescent white.
