Larry’s tired old Suzuki 400, on which he won all his events, has been put out to pasture and its replacement is a Kawasaki 380 Works Machine. The Kawasaki has incredible performance and Larry is still getting used to the bike, but when he does, there will be a lot of riders choking on his dust.

Being a quiet boy from the bush, Larry has often been forgotten by moto-cross organisers, but at last he is starting to get invitations to com­pete, although the Mallacoota mail sometimes brings these applications a week after the event. He’s not that fast that he can afford a seven day handicap.
