Living in the remote seaside town of Mallacoota prevents Larry from receiving the same attention as metropolitan riders. Larry, an aba­lone fisherman’s sheller, has turned to building to help support his habit. Although working on fishing boats gave him plenty of time to practice, it didn’t give him enough money to maintain his bike. Mark Bennet came to the rescue with a job as a builder and Larry now has to train in failing light after work, but at least he has been able to buy a new bike.
