At full strength they form a classic rocky jazz group with flutes, piano, guitars, upright bass, saxaphone, trumpet and drums. This com­bination is called Mama Hot And The Facts Of Life. When they play at₍ dances they play as Mama Hot, but in the restaurants of the town (all three of them) the group can break into two smaller parts. A guitar and upright bass play the original tunes of Gary Proctor while the piano, up­right bass and drums can provide dinner music as ‘Driftwood’.
