A Corner full of Characters,Love of Mallacoota

It’s hard to imagine a more diverse group of musicians. John Grun- den, who plays the upright bass and writes some of the instrumental tunes, also doubles as the Pythonesque commentator for the local juggling duet who go by the quaint name of The Amazing Balls Up. John also sings that favourite boy scout tune of Be Prepared.

On the same programme as the jugglers and the bizarre humour of Sue Chapman, who dresses up as the deserted bride from H.G. Wells’ “Great Expectations”, you can hear an original flute composition and the best arrangement of Broadway and Killing Me Softly With His Song that you will ever hear, Miles Davis and Earl Hines included.
